Binder Park Zoo Survey!

Sorry for the slow updating of the site -- we are actually looking for someone to manage a website for MIPARC if you are available and interested!

The summer is rolling along, hope everyone is getting a chance to chase some herps and enjoy the weather!

If interested, the next Midwest PARC meeting will be held 13 - 15 August 2010 in Oregon, Illinois and will focus on the biology, conservation, and management of Blanding's Turtles. For more info see mwparc.org!

What is Midwest Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation?

We would like to welcome everyone to the Mid West Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (MWPARC) in Michigan Network site. For more information on PARC, please see http://www.parcplace.org. For more information on MWPARC, please see http://www.parcplace.org/midwest.html.

Our goals are simple..
1) Get people talking across specialities, interests, and careers regarding amphibians and reptiles.
2) Work together to protect Michigan's amphibians and reptiles in a cooperative and realistic manner.

We hope to do this through education, resources, training, and communicating clearly about statewide herpetofauna concerns and needs.

This site has sections for forums, photos, video, events, and more. Feel free to start discussion groups, post information on upcoming herp related meetings and trainings, post job searches, network for education programming and anything else related to herp conservation in Michigan.

We hope you become engaged in the dialog and reach out to the network when you need information and expertise in Michigan.

Welcome to Everyone!
